What to wear – Fall outdoor date

Scenario: I’ve been invited out on a first date by one of my friends and he wants to go to a pumpkin patch. I love the idea of doing something seasonal and casual for a first date but I have no idea what to wear to a pumpkin patch. Can you suggest an outfit that is comfortable yet fashionable?

The look: First dates are always nerve-racking, especially when the plans are a little out of your usual fashion element. A few things to avoid when your date is in the outdoors/adventure category: Heels. Do not wear trendy shoes. The last thing you want to worry about is tripping over a pumpkin in stilettos. Avoid skirts and dresses. If it’s windy, you’ll be in trouble.

I suggest a simple, sophisticated look for this date. Wear a great-fitting pair of jeans, a basic T-shirt and classic riding boots. Tuck your slim fit jeans into the equestrian style boots.

Accessorize:Make this everyday look more fashionable with a chunky knit sweater, gold tone earrings and skinny belt. This outfit is comfy and trendy, perfect for any outdoor date.
