When it comes to bag-hunting, I’m very rarely wooed by anything ultra-girlie. You know, ruffles, pastels, pink — I certainly wouldn’t say I’m a tomboy, but I like my bags a little more on the versatile, neutral side. Especially if I’m paying top dollar, I want to make sure I’ll get maximum use out of it! But every now and then I’ll come across a bag that goes against most of my practical shopping rules… and makes me want to throw them all out the window! Yes, the See By Chloé Poya Satchel is totally cutesie and so not my usual style, but it’s too adorable to pass up. I love the schoolbag messenger-style silhouette, but with fun details like scalloped trim and mini buckles that make it way too cute to haul boring textbooks in! It’s vintage-inspired yet updated with strappy details and contrasting hardware, and though it is undeniably girly, I like the idea of balancing it with a fierce pair of heels and a moto jacket. And hey, with convertible straps for multiple carrying options, I certainly can’t say it isn’t versatile!
