Cameron Diaz carries Chanel with a casual outfit

Ive always found that making a structured, spare designer handbag work with a casual outfit can be pretty tricky. Particularly when the tote is such a pristine shade of ivory as Cameron Diazs classicly elegant Chanel Cerf Tote. Bags like that have a tendency to look out of place with anything less than a pair of nicely tailored wool slacks, but when worn correctly, their hidden versatility comes out.

Diaz is doing a great job of bringing out the bags potential with this casual outfit, and the key to its success is that she stays simple and classic. Her white t-shirt and jean jacket are traditional Americana, and the ivory draped skirt and nude heels lend a touch of modern sexiness that elevates the outfit to meet the bag halfway. This ensemble may look simple, but its probably more accurately described as deceptively simple.
